Rose of Sharon at Dawn

I'm often asked how it is that I can come up with such interesting color choices. In morning light, there are more grays, deeper greens, and yellows subdued. This painting, still needing some touch ups, reflects that early morning sensitivity. The "hint" of leaves and stems in the background will be my concentrated effort in future paintings
